Santiago is the 2002 National Champion Senior Stallion by unanimous decision with a Gold Medal Best Movement award.
Santiago was the first stallion to win Jr. Stallion and then come back to win Sr. Stallion.
He is a 5th generation National Halter Champion and his get are carrying on the family tradition, being the 6th generation of National Halter champions!
In 1998 Santiago won the title of Unanimous National Champion Junior Stallion along with two Unanimous titles in the Country English Division.
In 1999, he won the National Hunt Seat Open class, the largest national performance class in IALHA history, and was voted 1999 and 2003 Purebred Show Horse of the Year by the AAOPH.
In 2004 he was honored with Champion Get of Sire at Canada's first Andalusian Show.
Santiago is living proof that a halter champion can also be an outstanding performance horse.
Santiago holds the highest Dressage Sport Horse in Hand Stallion score for both 2008 & 2009.
